A few weeks ago I bought the boys new church outfits and planned to have them wear them on Easter Sunday to chuch. I then realized Easter fell on conference weekend so they got to wear their new suits a bit early. They would not coooperate with taking pictures that day though....here is the best one I could get. Don't they look handsome???

This year we went to my moms house to dye Easter Eggs. It was just Jordyn, Kaysen and Gage this year but they had so much fun.
This year we went to my moms house to dye Easter Eggs. It was just Jordyn, Kaysen and Gage this year but they had so much fun.
Gage woke up before anyone on Easter morning. Usually he comes right in our room but this time he went in the living room and found Kaysen's basket. He broke into it right away. With a littel prodding I was able to get him to leave Kaysen's and find his.
A few moments later here came Kaysen...
He wasn't all that excited about being woken up by Gage's noise until...
He found his basket.
We listened to the morning session of conference at Jerry's parents house then we had an absolutely delicious lunch at his Aunt and Uncles house. mmmm
We headed home and listed to the afternoon session of conference at our house and thankfully both of our boys were asleep so we could ACTUALLY listen to this session.
After conference we had an Easter Egg hunt at Grandma & Grandpa Miller's home with all the gradkids.
Gage was a bit confused. He found 4 eggs and was done. He just wanted to run around outside the rest of the time
Kaysen on the other hand ran around like crazy looking for eggs. He made off with quite a few of them. He even got lucky enough to find a couple of them with quarters inside. He thought he was the richest boy in the world.
All throughout the day, Jerry and I would ask Kaysen what Easter was about and he would say, "Jesus died. Then came back!!!" We told him the story of Easter thinking that he wouldn't really get much of it becasue he was a little preoccupied with his Easter basket, but I think he got the general idea.
This Easter was a great one. We are so grateful for thew opportunity we have to celeberate the life and Ressurection of our Savior.
Hope you had a happy Easter!
