Check Up...

In just under 3 years Gage has gone from this...15lbs 1oz (96%)  and 23 3/4"(78%)  at 8 weeks...

to this...37 lbs (89%)  and 39" (84%) at 3 years. 

He was born 3 weeks early and weighed 7lbs 3oz. I just wonder how big the boy would have been if he would have stayed in there to term. He has never been out of the 90ish percentile in weight...until now. He's in the 89%. He has weighed more than Kaysen for a year now and he is only about an inch or so shorter. He's definitely going to be a big boy.  We thought it would slow down...but it really hasn't. He just keeps growing like crazy. He is in size 4 clothes, Kaysen wonders why.  He didn't fit in size 4 until he was almost 4, so he thinks Gage still needs to be in size 3 because he is 3.  I'm pretty sure Gage will always be in a bit bigger size than his older brother. They are just built so different.

While we took him in for his 3 year check up he needed to get a shot.  They poked him in the leg and as soon as he felt it he looked at the nurse and said, "Hey! Why you do that to me?" Then it was over and he was good. He didn't even cry. Then we had to take him to get his blood drawn.  They used the butterfly looking thing and he just sat there and watched it stay in his arm. He didn't like it much, but he didn't even shed a single tear. He's one tough boy.
