Kaysen's F.H.E.

Kaysen learned something in Sharing Time on Sunday. They told all of the kids to take it home and teach it to their family (like they do almost every week, this week he just listened).

So on the drive home he informed me that he was in charge of Family Home Evening. I was all for it. It was my turn and I was going to do a little Easter lesson (and still did to fill a little time, but he did most of it)

You need a Styrofoam plate and plastic spoon with a picture of Jesus on the inside, salt and pepper.

First you dump the salt. Kaysen informs us that, "This is when you are clean."

"This is when you get dirty and make bad choices" he says as he pours the pepper on top of the salt.

Then you rub the bottom of the spoon on your hair "then think about the bad things you've done and ask Jesus to help you fix them."

Then you place the bottom of the spoon over the top of the pepper and the pepper will stick to the bottom of the spoon. "This is all of your bad choices disappearing, " Kaysen tells us.

He did an awesome job and was so excited about it. We'll have to let him do lessons more often.
